Meet The Squad 2010

This year's Meet the Squad Night held in the Mountain Ridge Stadium was a huge success. It was the 4th annual Meet the Squad Night and truly one of our best with a huge crowd that packed the bleachers. The event gave the supporters, parents, family, friends, and teachers a chance to come out and meet our teams for the first time this year and kick start the fall sports season. View Pictures

"Love Me Do"

Our school’s own Miss. Linn, the chorus, voice, and drama teacher, got engaged before our school year began.  Not only sharing her special moment with her fiancé, Luke Hale, she also shared the moment with Paul McCartney and his fans at an August concert during McCartney’s song “My Love”. The engagement appeared on the jumbotron. “Things like that don’t happen to people I know, let alone me,” commented a happy Miss Linn on her engagement. All the students and staff here at Mountain Ridge would like to wish Miss Linn the best of luck on her future as Mrs. Hale. Congratulations Miss Linn!

Homecoming Program Being Planned

The Mountain Ridge Football Parent Association is currently working on the third annual Homecoming Football Program for the 2010 season.
