Opt OUT of In-Person /Hybrid Structure Form

Per The Allegany County Public Schools Recovery Plan, we are making plans for students to re-enter school for in-person / hybrid learning. The goal is to begin a phased-in transition to a hybrid schedule during the second nine weeks for secondary schools. As we prepare to phase in each grade level, it is important that we have accurate counts of students who will be in each classroom. At the middle school and high school level, we are planning to have students return on an A-B-A-B schedule with Friday being a virtual day. Students whose last name begins with the letter A-L will attend on an A Day, and students whose last name begins with the letter M-Z will attend on a B Day. If a parent has children with different last names, then the parent may call the school to discuss whether or not the student will attend on an A or B Day.

As a parent, you have the right to request that your child remain in a virtual setting. If you choose this option, you will need to complete the Opt OUT of In-Person /Hybrid Structure Form and submit it to your child’s school.

Grades Count!

"GRADES:  Just a reminder that your grades count!  Please take the time to see what you are missing in each of your classes.  You can find this on Schoology and your current grade in ASPEN.  If you are having difficulty submitting assignments, please email your teachers as soon as possible.

Reminder: that a 60% is the minimum for a passing grade."
